Cookie Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Strata uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: we set a small number of first-party, security-related cookies, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be “persistent” (remaining for a set period) or “session” (deleted when the browser closes). Strata’s cookies are httpOnly where they carry your session, which means scripts running on a page cannot read them.
How We Use Cookies
- Essential cookies: authentication and sign-in security. Without them, logging in cannot work.
- Preferences:your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device.
- What we do not use: no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, and no third-party analytics cookies.
Cookies We Set
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| strata_at | Essential | Keeps you signed in (access token) | 1 hour |
| strata_rt | Essential | Renews your session (refresh token) | 30 days |
| strata_gstate | Essential | Secures Google sign-in against forgery | 10 minutes |
Third-Party Cookies
We embed no third-party trackers. If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own domains during its consent screen; we do not control those, and Google’s own policies apply there.
Managing Your Cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking our essential cookies signs you out; the public site works without any cookies at all.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Strata does not need to respond to it, because we do not track you across sites in the first place.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves; any new cookie would be listed here before it ships. Questions: sameera@stratahire.ai or sai@stratahire.ai.
